Mistharvest is a small, farm-direct brand from Thirthahalli, in the rain-soaked Malnad hills of the Western Ghats. We grow single-origin spices and forest produce with the families who have tended these slopes for generations — and send them straight to your kitchen.

The land of the Pepper Queen
Four centuries ago, Rani Chennabhairadevi — remembered as the “Pepper Queen” — ruled this coast for nearly half a century, her power built on the trade of Malnad black pepper prized across the seas.
That same pepper still ripens on the same misted vines. When you cook with it, you're tasting a spice with a very long memory.

Our Farmers
Grown by families, paid fairly
Behind every harvest is a smallholder family: tending the vines, boiling and sun-drying the turmeric, gathering honey from the forest edge. We buy directly from them — no middlemen, no anonymous commodity market.
Because we buy farm-direct, we pay these families three to five times the commodity rate. Fairness isn't a marketing line here; it's the whole point.
